How do you decide which businesses to list?
We manually review every business before listing. That means verifying stated business presence, cross-checking Texas licenses against state databases, confirming insurance, and confirming they actually serve the areas they claim. See the About page for the full process.
Why don't you show phone numbers?
We work by form, intentionally. Phone-tag and spam-call cycles are exactly the experience we're trying to avoid for both homeowners and the businesses we list.
Are these businesses paying you to be listed?
Standard listings are free. Featured and Sponsored placements are paid — and clearly labeled. Guide content is never for sale.
How do I request a quote from a listed business?
Each business listing page has a 'Request info' form. Submit it; we forward to the business and BCC our editorial team for visibility.
What happens to my information when I submit a form?
Lead-form submissions go to the relevant business and our editorial team. Contact-form submissions go to our editorial team only. We don't sell or share your info beyond that. See the Privacy Policy.
What if a business gives me bad service — can I report it to you?
Yes. Use the Contact form. We don't run a public review system at launch, but reports inform our re-review process.
Are guide articles influenced by advertisers?
No. Guide content is never paid-for. Advertisers cannot influence what we write or recommend.

How do you handle complaints about a listed business?
Complaints inform our annual re-review and can trigger an early re-review. Pattern complaints can result in delisting.
Can I update my listing later?
