About Cedar Park Texas Wins

Who we are

[PLACEHOLDER bio.] Cedar Park Texas Wins is run by [OWNER/TEAM]. We're [LOCAL CONNECTION — homeowner since YYYY, small business operator, etc.]. We started this site because [REASON — fill in real motivation before launch].

How we vet a business

Before any business appears on this site, our editorial team manually reviews them. That means:

  • We verify their stated business presence (real address, real website, real phone, even if we don't publish phones publicly).
  • We cross-check any claimed Texas licenses against TDLR, TSBPE, or other authoritative state sources.
  • We check for active general liability insurance.
  • We confirm they actually serve the areas they claim to serve.
  • We re-review every listing at least annually, and remove any business that goes out of business or changes scope dramatically.

How we make money

We're transparent about this. Standard listings on this site are free. Two paid tiers exist:

  • Featured — manually upranked in directory grids and rotated through the homepage. Always visibly labeled "Featured."
  • Sponsored — paid placement, always visibly labeled "Sponsored," with outbound links carrying rel="sponsored".

We do not sell editorial placement. Guide content is never paid-for. We have never accepted (and will never accept) payment to remove a critical fact from a guide or to favorably review a specific business.

What we will not do

  • No fake reviews. We don't carry reviews at launch, and we won't add them until we have an honest moderation system that can withstand review-fraud pressure.
  • No phone-call pressure. Every contact on this site is by form. No spam-call back-and-forth.
  • No AI-generated team photos or biographies. Real people, real names.
  • No invented "best in Texas" awards. We're a directory, not an awards body.

Editorial standards

Every guide on this site is published under a named author with credentials, carries a visible "Last updated" date, and includes at least one Central Texas- specific detail. We mark estimates as estimates and date-stamp them. When we make a mistake, we correct it visibly with a "Corrected on [date]" note.
